The terms "airbrush tan" and "spray tan" are often used interchangeably, but there is notable difference between the two methods of sunless tanning. Airbrush tanning is done by a skilled technician using a handheld airbrush tanning gun that allows for a more precise and controlled application of the formula. This precision helps in achieving a more even, streak-free natural looking tan compared to that of a spray tanning booth where a machine sprays the tanning solution across the body.
Rapid Signature offers faster rinse times (1-3.5 hours) than our Original Signature (5-7 hours) and includes Pure Glow’s ground breaking melanin activating technology for more personalized results than ever before.
With proper care, your Pure Glow tan should last 8-10 days.
Airbrush tan appointments take 20 minutes in total. We recommend giving yourself additional time for parking and for completing intake forms.
A Pure Glow tan will not stain regular fabrics like cotton, but we recommend avoiding dry clean only fabrics until after you’ve showered. Dark, cotton loose fitting clothes work best, like a long sleeve shirt and joggers.
Rapid Signature allows you to shower in just 1-3.5 hours, while Original Signature allows you to shower in just 5-7 hours. Rapid Signature requires that you shower at the rinse time designated by your look selection. Original Signature requires that you wait at least 5 hours before rinsing, but offers flexibility to shower anytime after that time.
In order to maintain your Pure Glow tan we recommend moisturizing head to toe twice daily. This is incredibly effective and should not be overlooked. Our tan-extending moisturizer is designed to lengthen the life of your tan as well as promote even fading. If you prefer to use something from home, try a moisturizer that is oil and alcohol-free. Be sure to avoid excessive scrubbing or exfoliating for about a week after your airbrush spray tan.
